Abstract
MonX is an onchain settlement platform designed to connect blockchain-generated revenue with social payments through X Money. The platform creates a direct route between eligible onchain revenue and an X identity, allowing revenue generated by decentralized applications, token ecosystems, and digital platforms to be automatically converted and delivered through X Money.
Onchain Revenue → MonX → X Money
1. Introduction
Blockchain applications generate revenue through trading activity, protocol fees, creator fees, transaction charges, and other onchain mechanisms. MonX introduces an infrastructure layer that connects revenue generation with delivery to a recognizable social identity — a new category of financial infrastructure: Social Revenue Settlement.
2. The MonX Network
MonX operates as a settlement and routing infrastructure for eligible blockchain revenue. The system consists of five stages: revenue generation, revenue collection, settlement processing, payment conversion, and X Money delivery.
3. Revenue Routing
MonX introduces programmable revenue routes that associate an eligible revenue source with an X identity. A project, application, creator ecosystem, or other supported onchain source can define where eligible revenue should ultimately be directed.
Source → Settlement Account → Conversion → X Money → Recipient
4. Revenue Collection
MonX collects eligible revenue from supported onchain sources — trading fees, creator fees, protocol revenue, application fees, transaction charges, and platform-generated income. Incoming value becomes part of a tracked settlement balance with a clear lifecycle for every settlement.
5. Settlement Engine
The Settlement Engine coordinates the movement of revenue from its source to its final payment destination: detecting eligible revenue, recording balances, aggregating small payments, applying thresholds, preparing amounts, initiating routes, and recording outcomes.
6. X Money Integration
X Money serves as the payment destination for supported MonX settlement routes. Once an eligible balance reaches settlement conditions, MonX prepares the payment for the associated X identity. The recipient does not need to manually withdraw every incoming revenue event.
Blockchain Revenue → MonX Settlement → Payment Conversion → X Money → X Account
7. Payment Conversion
Blockchain assets and social payment balances do not necessarily operate in the same financial format. The conversion layer prepares eligible onchain value for the payment environment used by the final settlement destination through asset conversion, stable-value settlement, liquidity routing, payment preparation, and settlement accounting.
8. Settlement Thresholds
MonX can use configurable settlement thresholds to prevent excessive transaction fragmentation. Revenue accumulates until a predefined settlement condition is reached, allowing the system to handle revenue streams of different sizes while maintaining efficient settlement behavior.
Revenue Generated → Balance Accumulates → Threshold Reached → Settlement Initiated → X Money Payment
9. Recipient Resolution
MonX connects settlement routes to an X identity rather than relying exclusively on traditional wallet destinations. The system maintains the relationship between revenue source, X identity, and settlement status so the recipient remains identifiable through the social platform.
Revenue Source → X Identity → Settlement Status
